Our vision for life-saving solar installations in schools and orphanages to protect children during record-breaking heatwaves across Pakistan.
Pakistan faces an unprecedented climate crisis, with temperatures soaring above 50°C in many regions. The devastating heatwaves are forcing mass school closures, putting millions of children’s education at risk. Our goal is to implement solar energy initiatives that will provide critical cooling solutions to keep learning environments safe and functional.
We plan to strategically install solar-powered cooling systems in schools and orphanages, creating climate refuges where children can continue their education despite extreme weather conditions. These systems will not only provide immediate relief but also demonstrate the long-term viability of renewable energy solutions in climate adaptation.
Our target is to launch a series of school projects which will aim to achieve a reduction in heat related absences and improved learning outcomes during the hottest months of the year.
